The Yalobusha General Hospital and Nursing Home is seeking portraits for their Wall of Service exhibit.

Photographs of former physicians, previous chairmen of the hospital board, and directors of nursing are needed, according to Linda Eakes, director of pharmacy, who is heading up the project.

“We’d like to pay tribute to those who have served in the past. They enable us to serve in the present,” Eakes said.

Photographs can be brought to the hospital on South Main Street or to the Herald office. The photos will not be harmed and will be returned to the owner. Eakes requests that a name, address and phone number be attached to the bank of each photo.

In most cases, photos brought to the Herald will be scanned immediately and returned to the owner. Professional portrait-style photographs are the type being sought.

Among the individuals needed are Smiley Arrington, J. Roy Bennett, James A. Larson, Hershel Howell, Linda Ingram, and Aaron Gordon, Eakes added.
