Sheriff Lance Humphreys will ask the Mississippi Highway Patrol to help step up traffic enforcement at the Hwy. 7 and 32 intersection. “We have written almost a dozen tickets,” Humphreys reported since the early January accident that claimed the life of Water Vallian Tracy Jenkins.
“I feel like the majority of the people who run these stop signs aren’t from the area and don’t realize the intersection is a four-way stop,” Humphreys said, “At least until it is too late.”
