Crown Gala Will Be Saturday Evening

The Water Valley Junior Auxiliary Crown Gala will be held this Saturday night beginning at 6:30 at the Davidson Elementary School Gym, according to Sasha Hyde, JA president.
This year’s event will take on an air of international intrigue with its Casino Royale theme. “We believe it will be a lot of fun, with good food, entertainment and door prizes, along with the auction items,” Hyde said.
Dinner will be catered by Taylor Grocery and will include fried catfish, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and chicken tenders along with side items.
The Muddy Water Band will provide entertainment. The group has performed at both the Watermelon Carnival and Music in the Park, Hyde added.
Auction items include furniture, pottery, jewelry, home decor, golf equipment, and various MSU and Ole Miss items. There will also be door prizes, including dinner engagement gift certificates.
“Please remember that all monies raised will go back into our community to help needy children,” Hyde said. “The Junior Auxiliary truly appreciates our community support and looks forward to seeing you Saturday night.”
