Basketball:
The Water Valley Blue Devils lost a nail-biter in the first
round of  the division 2A  basketball playoffs Wednesday
night. "In 28 years of coaching I have never been more proud
of a team's effort," says John Sherman, head coach of the
Blue Devils.

Baseball: 
The Blue Devil baseball team got the bats rolling  Tuesday
afternoon in varsity action. "I was overall pleased with our
approach offensively,"says Doug Robbins, head coach of the
Blue Devils.
