Hospital Schedules Fundraising Events
Yalobusha General Hospital and Nursing Relay for Life team members have multiple fundraising events planned for the days and weeks leading up to the April Relay For Life.
The team, dubbed “Hunting For A Cure” will have annual jumbalya plates on March 20 in the hospital parking lot. The plates include cornbread and ice tea. Also kicked off on the same day will be the silent auction. Items will be on display beginning on March 20 and the bidding will start at 11:30 and continue through the night of the relay.
The next event event will be a bake sale, just in time for Easter, in front of Larson’s Piggly Wiggly on Friday, March 21. A $100 grocery card will also be raffled during the bake sale.
A final exciting event will be a golf tournament scheduled on April 12. Thirty-eight two-person teams will play a morning and afternoon round at the Yalobusha Country Club. There will be a $150 first place prize and a $100 second place prize for each round.

All proceeds from the events will benefit the America Cancer Society.
