Yalobusha Idols

Shelby Hernandez (left, bottom photo) was first place winner and Breanna Baker took second place in the first Yalobusha County Idol Contest held Saturday, March 8, at the civic auditorium. The winners will advance to the final competition during the Relay for Life event April 25. The contest was sponsored by the Dynamic Conquerors Team.

The Springhill North God’s Anointed Praisers took third place in the contest. Team members include (from left, top photo) B. J. White, Jasmine Polk, Rotez Rockette, Devontae Turner, Keke Carr, Tierria Turner and Jasmine Phillips.
