JA Easter Egg Hunt

Nate Edwards (left) and Brice Terry got a little bored waiting for the start of the Water Valley Junior Auxiliary Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning. The pair exchanged a friendly dare and ended up calling each other “bucket head.”

At the end of the hunt, the youngsters lined up for the count and Hayden Yeager (bottom left) and one of his buddies, Dillon Smith, pooled their finds. Hayden had to go back for a second count when he lost his place during the first. He finally arrived at a total of 21 eggs. – Photos by Jack Gurner

It’s a good thing the Easter Bunny had made it to safety before the stampede at the beginning of the the Water Valley Junior Auxiliary Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning at City Park. The JA event organizers reported that over a hundred kids in the kindergarten to fourth grade age group participated in the annual event.
