Law Enforcement Report

Water Valley Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Monday, March 31, at Big Al’s Pawn Shop on South Main Street.

Taken were two handguns, one rifle and various items of jewelry, according to Police Chief Mike King.

Chief King reported the following additional law enforcement activity in the Water Valley City limits during the past week:

• Made three arrests for driving under suspension;

• Made one arrest for driving under suspension and no tag;

• Made one arrest for driving under suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Made one arrest for driving under suspension, DUI second offense, and disorderly conduct;

• Made an arrest for disturbing the peace and no drivers license;

• Made an arrest for possession of alcohol by a minor;

• Made an arrest for DUI;

• Took a report of auto burglary on Berkshire Road;

• Took a report of simple domestic assault;

• Took three reports of simple assault;

• Took two reports of petty larceny;

• Took a report of malicious mischief;

• Took a report of malicious mischief and simple assault;

• Took a report of found property;

• Issued a citation for violation of the city noise ordinance, loud music in a motor vehicle;

• Issued 27 traffic tickets;

• Investigated 5 crashes.
