Voter Registration Is Summer Priority

Yalobusha County Circuit Clerk Daryl Burney is anticipated a large voter registration this summer as the November General Election approaches.
Burney reported his office will visit different spots in the county this summer to register potential voters. Burney also urges anyone who has moved to let his office know.
“I expect a large turnout,” Burney said about Yalobusha voter participation. “I want to make sure people do not have any probelms at the polls,” the Circuit Clerk added.
The last day to register to vote in the November election is October 4. You can register on-line at the Secretary of State’s website, or call the Circuit Clerk’s office to request a registration form. The number in Water Valley is 473-1341 and in Coffeeville the number is 675-8187.
