Fatal Crash On Hwy 32

An early morning crash claimed the life of a 20-year-old Water Valley lady.

Brittany S. Simmons was killed when her 2006 Toyota Tacoma ran off the road and overturned, according to Sgt. Leslie White with the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol (MHSP).

The accident occurred on Hwy. 32 East of Water Valley, near the intersection of Hwy. 32 and County Road 100.

Simmons was ejected from the vehicle, according to White.

The accident occurred around 1:18 a.m. and the Water Valley Police, Yalobusha County Sheriff’s Department, MHSP and rescue personnel responded. Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene by the county’s deputy coroner.
