Drama Club Needs Furniture For Set

The Water Valley High School Drama Club is preparing for their spring play, ‘And Then There Was One,” a comedic spoof of the Agatha Christi novel, “And Then There Were None.” The club is in need of a few pieces and are asking for donations of several furniture items such as: a couch; floor lamp; a table; and a fireplace mantel.
They need a full size couch, not a love seat, which can withstand a bit of use. It does not need to be pretty, just sturdy. The floor lamp needs a lamp shade, but does not need to be in working order. If you would like to donate any of these furniture items you may call the drama sponsor, Debra Anderson, at 601-467-6696 between 10 and 10:30 a.m. or evenings between 3:30 and 8 p.m. “Thank you for your support of the arts in Water Valley,” says Anderson.
The play will be performed Thursday, April 23, in the Water Valley Civic Auditorium, beginning at 7 p.m. Students involved in the play are Randall Winkler, Shaniqua Wesley, Chancie Joyner, Ashley Nichols, Reggie Tenner, Jesse Anderson, Devin Cobb, Lizzie Shawk, Aaron Williamson, Morgan Way, and Jillian Harris.
