Farmers’ Market Open This Morning

According to Alexe van Beuren, market manager:
Eddie Rogers’ sweet corn is still in season. Come by and stock up.
Baxter Jones will be bringing a truck full of tomatoes and selling them both by the piece, the pound, and the five-gallon bucket– now’s the time for canning!
Bill Forsyth will be in the shade of the magnolia tree on one of his hand-crafted Adirondack chairs: $75 for the kind that rocks, cheaper than Wal-Mart’s, and made right here in Water Valley! He also makes porch swings and more.
Blueberries and blackberries are still in season. We’re all holding our breaths for fresh figs. Cage-free fresh eggs, fried pies, handmade soaps, platters, artwork, and more… including purple hull peas!
Come by and see how much you can save on groceries this week!
And remember to get your very own Water Valley Farmers’ Market tote bag, only $6 and roomy enough for all your Farmers’ Market purchases.
See you there.
