WATER VALLEY – Registration dates have been released for Water Valley Junior High and High School students, kicking off next Tuesday, July 28 and continuing through Thursday, July 30.
School officials also want to remind new students at the junior high and high school need to bring two proofs of residence, immunization records, birth certificate, social security card and any school records from the previous year or address of school last attended.
Returning students should bring two proofs of residence or copies of two proofs of residence.
The registration schedule for new and returning students is: Tuesday, July 28, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday, July 29, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday, July 30, 8:30 a.m.-Noon; and Thursday, August 6, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. There will be NO registration on Friday, July 31.
All students should be accompanied by a parent/guardian who can complete registration forms (emergency cards, pick-up forms, etc.). Information cards MUST be filled out before the student receives a schedule. Students will need their schedule with them for “Meet the Teacher” night and for the first day of school on Monday, August 10. Students who do not register and pick up a schedule will be allowed to register on the day of “Meet the Teacher” but this will take some time so be patient. Students who do not register and pick up a schedule on a registration day or at “Meet the Teacher” will be detained on the morning of August 10, as they will have to go through the registration process. Please come by the school during the registration dates to register and receive a schedule. No schedule change request forms will be accepted after the first period on August 11.
“Meet the Teacher” will be held on Thursday, August 6, form 11:30-4:30.
