Art works by Anissa Wilkinson are currently on display in the lobby of Renasant Bank on Central Street.

The exhibit is the latest installment of a rotating show by local artists sponsored by the bank and the Water Valley Arts Council.

Fifteen of Wilkinson’s creations are included in the show, which runs through the end of the month.

Some of her work could be described as mixed media since Wilkinson combines metal, paper, and other substances with paint to create texture.

“I love to experiment,” she said. That trait probably comes from working with youngsters at Imagination Station, her downtown art school.

“This is our fourth artist and I continue to be impressed by the quality of the works on exhibit,” said Bill Taylor, President of Renasant Bank in Water Valley. “I would like to invite everyone to stop by the bank and see for yourself the amazing amount of talent we have in this town.”
