Fish Plate Fundraiser Raises Money To Build Softball Field

A fish plate fundraiser is scheduled Saturday as the Fans of Fast Pitch Booster Club continues to raise money to complete work on the new high school softball field.

 Tickets for a fish plate dinner are currently being sold by booster club members for the dinner, which is scheduled at the Lions Club Railroad Depot from 5 to 7 p.m. Or, you can purchase a ticket at the Depot that night.

Plates cost $5 and include a drink. The profits from this dinner and donations are being matched by Modern Woodmen of America, up to $2,500.

The team’s new field still needs lights, restrooms, concession stands and seating must be completed.
