Law Enforcement Report

WATER VALLEY – Lt. Rick McCuan reported the following law enforcement activity within the Water Valley City limits during the past three weeks:

• Made an arrest for public drunk, malicious mischief, and assault on a police officer. Arrested was Robbie Poteete, 48, of Water Valley for an incident that occurred in the ally west of Main Street on Dec. 17.

• Made 11 arrests for driving under suspension;

• Made two arrests for possession of marijuana;

• Made two arrests for no drivers license;

• Made an arrest for contempt of court;

• Made an arrest for simple domestic assault;

• Made an arrest for disorderly conduct;

• Made an arrest for shoplifting;

• Made an arrest for public drunk;

• Made an arrest for trespassing;

• Took four reports of simple assault;

• Took two reports of malicious mischief;

• Took a report of trespassing;

• Took a report of telephone profanity;

• Took a report of petty larceny of gas;

• Took a report of simple domestic assault;

• Took a report of disturbing the peace;

• Took a report of stalking;

• Took a report of credit card fraud;

• Took a report of grand larceny;

• Took a report of burglary;

• Issued a citation for violation of the dog ordinance;

• Issued 62 traffic citations.
