Grass Fire Monday

Firefighters battled a stubborn grass fire on County Road 230 just after noon on Monday. County volunteers from departments in Velma, Pine Valley, and Otuckalofa along with the county unit one from Water Valley worked for about two hours controlling the blaze which burned a shed and destroyed about 30 bales of hay.
