Landmark Added To Railroad Park

Andy Hall of the Water Valley Electric Department directs the Railroad Park Clock into position. Department Manager Joe Newman is operating the crane lifting the clock.

Members of the Town and Country Garden Club and Mrs. Dorris Crawford (front row, second from left) pose with the clock before it was lifted into place.

Larry Sprouse of Valley Lumber donated the use of his forklift to move the two crates from storage at City Hall to the Park.

Water Valley gained a new landmark Tuesday morning when the Railroad Park clock was installed at the north end of the downtown park. Mrs. Dorris Crawford donated the Howard four-dial post clock to the City through the Town and Country Garden Club in honor of her late husband Brownie Crawford.
