County Line Fire Thursday
Yalobusha and Calhoun County firefighters joined forces Thursday morning to battle a structure fire on the Ed Newman property off Hwy. 32 East near the county line. Fire equipment from Water Valley, Velma, and Pine Valley were assisted by Bruce and Chickenbone units from Calhoun County to fight the blaze that was first reported at 10:56 a.m.
