Community Band Performs Sunday At Civic Center

The Water Valley Community Band will present their Spring Concert this Sunday, April 25, beginning at 2:30 p.m., in the Water Valley Civic Auditorium on North Main Street.

  Selections will include “Highlights from ‘My Fair Lady’,”  “Bugler’s Holiday,” and “The Golden Age of Broadway,” featuring the musicals of Rodgers and Hammerstein II. Admission is $5.00.

  Members of the band are: flutes, Becky Crow, Debby Hughes, and Tina Pryor; oboe, Judy Sartain; clarinets, Linda Davis, Tiffany Davis, Vivian Gilley, Marty Gurner, Kim Jones, and Marsha Morgan; bass clarinet, Janice Crow; saxophone, Carol Shields; horns, David Bambaugh, Sandra Evans, Gail Herrera, and Butch Stevens; trumpets, Barron Caulfield, Barry Caulfield, Michael Crow, John Cockrell, Greg Earnest, Kelley Hart, and Andrew Pryor; baritone, Jack Hughes; trombones, Gary Gold and Ron Hart; tuba, Brandon Hughes; percussion, Clay Ashford, Keith Morgan, Jamie McCammon, Bobby Suratt, and Morris Surrette.

    The band is under the direction of Stanley Crow.
