Head Start Balloon Release

October is Head Start Awareness Month and this year the program celebrates its 45th Anniversary. In honor of the anniversary and to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month, the youngsters from the Water Valley Head Start on Railroad Street released pink balloons on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. They also entertained visitors Board of Supervisors President Amos Sims, Mayor Larry Hart, Tax Assessor Linda Shufield, and School Superintendent Dr. Deborah Moran.
