White Christmas In Yalobusha County

The first white Christmas in memory prompted Brady Tidwell, 4, to build a snowman in the yard of his grandparents, Bea and Allen Tidwell, who live on Wood Street. He got some help from his parents, Joseph and Jessica Tidwell. The estimated inch of snowfall had mostly disappeared by late afternoon. – Photos by Jack Gurner

The first white Christmas in memory greeted Yalobusha County folks this year. Here are some photos of rare event. Some say it has been since 1913 since snow fell on Christmas day.
