As part of the opening ceremony, a group of preschoolers sang the National Anthem. The complicated song was a bit hard for the four and five-year-olds to manage, but they gave it their all. City and county officials, guests, and team members gathered at Crawford Sport Complex for the official opening. During the program Mayor Larry Hart saluted the work done by James B. “Crip” Tyler and Geanie Tyler over the years.
