Law Enforcement Report

WATER VALLEY – Police report a relatively quiet holiday weekend in the City as most citizens quietly observed Memorial Day.

Sgt. A. J. Hernandez reported the following law enforcement activity in Water Valley since May 23:

• Made four arrests for driving with a suspended license;

• Made two arrests for disturbing the peace;

• Made an arrest for violation of the city beer ordinance, open container;

• Took two reports of malicious mischief;

• Took a report of shoplifting, first offense;

• Took a report of a vehicle crash;

• Took a report of violation of the City junk ordinance;

• Took a report of littering;

• Issued 18 traffic tickets.
