Relay For Life Raises Funds, Awareness

Tyler Hill (left) of Mechanics Bank ran a game of chance for a good cause at the Relay For Life last Friday. One of the new features is the luminaria sky lanterns, 12 of which were released as part of the ceremony.

Yalobusha County’s Relay For Life last Friday raised $31,733.47 for the American Cancer Society. A “wrap up” meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 9, at the Mechanics Bank Commmunity Room.
