Looking For Some Local Produce?

Farmers Market Saturday from 8 until 11 a.m. at the south end of Railroad Park on Main Street.

There’ll be a whole bunch of friendly, helpful people and one old grouch.

And, speaking of friendly, helpful people…

Here’s the latest from Mickey Howley on the market:

The fruit and vegetables are coming in.

Eddie Rogers says the corn is soon ripe.

The Goforths have this for Saturday:

Peaches, Blueberries, Tomatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Okra, Pepper – hot and sweet, new potatoes, cucumbers
Canned pickles, relishes, jellies and jams.

Tom Anderson will have art and sno-cones; just think about that combination.
Sam Goodwin has some fresh stuff from his garden.
And there will the usual suspects with produce to move, it is early summer in the Valley and stuff is plentiful and fresh
Plus Ben Koltai will be there to talk about permaculture gardening.
See you Saturday morning,
Mickey
