Water Valley Arts Council Hosts Fourth Annual ‘Art Crawl’
Art Crawlers make a stop during last year’s event.
This event is free to the public. There are 15 stops on the tour; four are new to this year’s Crawl. All the Crawl locations are within walking distance of each other. Stops on the tour will offer visitors light refreshments and a peek into the private world of working artists. Some home studios will include displays of other local artists’ work. Children are welcome!
Artists participating in this year’s crawl are Erin Austen Abbott, Cindy Aune, Andi Bedsworth, Elsie Booker, Jerika Broussard, Angela G. Clanton, Jayne Clark, Jacki Clevenger, John Steele Davis, Pati D’Amico, Mari Foster, Coulter Fussell, Hanne Gaycken, Katrina Geenen, Nicole Gladden, Thomas Grosskopf, Jack Gurner, Allie Hendee, Beth Long, Michael T. Maxwell, Jennifer Pace, Megan Kingery Patton, Julia Ray, Susan Richards, Ridge and Furrow Letterpress (Daniel Uncapher), Leigh Rounsaville, Jared Spears, Catherine Tollison, Karen Turnage, Bob Tyler, Deirdre Uncapher, Shelly Vanland-ingham, Caren Vitell, Bill Warren, Barry Weeks, and Anissa Wilkinson
Galleries on the Crawl are Bozarts, J. Clayton’s Eclectic Arts, and Yalo. Musicians participating include Alan Gross, Joe Gurner, Jeff Long, Jared Spears, and Eddie Wood.
Crawl maps can be picked up the night of the event from Yalo Studio (303 N. Main Street) or Bozarts Gallery (403 N. Main Street).
