Website Address Creates Confusion

WATER VALLEY – If you have experienced difficulty visiting the Herald’s website, you are not alone.
    “Over a month ago, the website was updated and we dropped our original address, yalobushanewsonline.com,” Herald editor David Howell explained.
    This address was used in the first year, but later the website address was shortened to yalnews.com.
    Before the update, both website addresses would steer the browser to the Herald’s website.    
    “We didn’t anticipate that many of our readers had bookmarked the earlier address, so when they clicked on their favorites, they were not able to access our homepage,” Howell said.
    The simple fix is to update your bookmark to yalnews.com, Howell added.
    “We have fielded phones calls from all across the country and right here at home about this issue,” Howell said.  “We apologize for the inconvenience.”
