Main Street Merchants Sponsor Open House

WATER VALLEY – It’s going to look a lot like Christmas this weekend on Main Street as downtown merchants join together for the “Christmas In The Valley Holiday Open House.”
There will be door prizes, giveaways, refreshments and a whole lot of bargains from one end to the other, according to the Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and the Water Valley Main Street Association, who are sponsoring the event.
“Shop local first for the coming holiday season” is the theme and Water Valley’s downtown business owners are working hard to make that happen by offering a first class collection of merchandise from the biggest selection of stores in years.
There are gifts for everyone on your list. Take a look at the full-page ad on page 16 for some ideas. But, take a few minutes Saturday and visit each business. You might be surprised by what you find.
Once you purchase your gifts, bring them by Valley Dance Company where the Junior Auxiliary will offer gift wrapping.
