Hatchery Hosts Fish Predator Program

ENID LAKE – The North Mississippi Fish Hatchery Visitor Education Center will host a Fish Predators program on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m.
The Fish Predators Program gives young people the opportunity to learn about fish and other animals higher in the food chain that prey on other fish lower in the food chain. This program identifies reptiles, amphibians, and birds whose diets consist primarily of fish. Participants will get the opportunity to see skulls, replica eggs, claws, and teeth of some of these predators.
The program is free with price of admission. Admission is $2.50 for adults ages 18-59, and $2.00 for youngsters ages 3-17 and adults over the age of 60.
The Visitor Education Center adjacent to Enid Lake is part of the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks and is located at Exit 233 east off I-55.
