Let’s Get Green – Yall Come, Ya Hear

Think Green – Mr. and Mrs. Snork Blotz (Bill Warren and Pati D’Amico) model a green-theme pair of costumes that have been recycled, redone, revamped and regurgitated over the years. Will they wear them to the Gala? “Too plain,” said the couple.

STAFF REPORT

WATER VALLEY – Green is the theme for the Green Gala of Yalobusha Costume Party and Dance March 16 at Bozarts Gallery.
The event benefits the Water Valley Arts Council’s Summer Art Camp for Kids, according to Ramona Bernard. “Last year 50 local area children enjoyed a week-long day camp filled with painting, puppetry, and performance and we’re planning to do it again this summer.”
A Green King and Queen will be crowned and prizes awarded for the best Green Team, Most Environmentally Green, and Cleverest Use of Green (color or concept) but you don’t need to wear a costume to join the party, Bernard added.
Tickets are $10 at the door.  Refreshments will be served.
