BorgWarner Sponsors Run/Walk For Crappie Festival Kickoff

WATER VALLEY – BorgWarner, an automobile parts manufacturer located in Water Valley, is sponsoring a 5K run and a 2 mile walk on Saturday, May 4.  
The Run/Walk will be the kickoff event for the “World’s Largest Crappie Festival” held in downtown Water Valley. The Run/Walk will be professionally timed by Start2Finish Timing, LLC Memphis and cash prizes will be awarded for overall male and female 5K finishers and first and second place finishers for the run and walk pertaining to specific age categories.  
All race, walk and volunteer participants will receive a free t-shirt with the race logo on it. The race starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4,  and registration packet pickup will be held that morning, beginning at 8 a.m. at 302 Railroad Street.  
Participants may register for the race online at www.runsignup.com or by mailing in a paper registration form found at local Water Valley merchants.    Entry fees and race/walk routes can be viewed on the runsignup website, by searching on BorgWarner.
