At 6:30 p.m. the cancer survivor’s names will be read and they will begin the first lap of the Relay.  On the second lap the Survivor’s family and caregivers will join in.  Then members from each relay team will start walking the track.
At 9 p.m. luminarias and sky lanterns will be lit in a silent and somber tribute for all those who are battling cancer and for the memory of those who have lost their battle. The event will end at 1 a.m. Saturday morning.  Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the fun, food, fellowship, and remembrance of this special event.
