U. S. Postal Service carriers like Cathy Odom (second from right) collected food left by mailboxes Saturday, May 11, to help combat hunger in America. The local collection was donated to Compassion Ministries and picked up by Raymond Avan (left) and Carroll Crenshaw. Postmaster Elijah Abel is on the right.
