Law Enforcement Confirms That Schools Are Safe After Shooting In Oxford

It has been confirmed that Dr. Carol Gary, principal of Davidson Elementary School, and a child were killed at their residence in Oxford.
Yalobusha County Sheriff Lance Humphreys said that the shooting does not present a threat to the school and he is assuming parents that their children are safe.
Both DES and WVHS are open and are operating on a normal schedule at the present time.
