Musician List Growing For Pine Valley Festival

Phillip Lewis is among artists who will display work at the Pine Valley Music and Arts Fest. He is working on his third concrete sculptor in this photo. He is a self-taught artist and lives in the Pine Valley community.

    The list of musicians committed to perform at the Pine Valley Music and Arts Fest have been released by organizers. The family-friendly event is scheduled on May 31, starting at 1 p.m., at the old Pine Valley School.
    The musicians performing include: Jacob King, Tommy Reaves, Chase, The VanWinkle Family, Van-Winkle Nation, Irwin, Cadil-lac Funk, Greg Johnson, Shaindi Walls, Susannah Furr, and Jerod Spears.
    Andi Bedsworth and the Art Van will be at the event to teach aspiring artists how to marbilize paper with shaving cream. Rockette Studio is bringing a troop of dancers.
    Local food vendors will participate including Le Mojo Bakery, D & D Barbecue the B.T.C. Old Fashioned Grocery and others.
    The event is a fundraiser for the school, which was the first consolidated school in the county. Donations will be accepted at the door. The school building is located at 4490 Hwy. 32 West, outside Water Valley.
