Renowned Guitarist Will Perform at The Loft

New Orleans guitarist Jimmy Robinson

New Orleans guitarist Jimmy Robinson will perform at The Loft On Main next Thursday, June 12.
Robinson has toured internationally with festivals in Germany, Italy, the U.K. and Mexico. He has performed at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage festival over 25 times and has opened shows for Adrian Belew, Jeff Beck, Allen Holdsworth, Tuck And Patty, Bela Fleck And The Flectones, Steve Morse, John McLaughlin, and others.
Robinson said the performance will be his first stop on a trip to St. Louis, Kansas City and Chicago.
The Loft On Main is upstairs above the B.T.C. Old Fashioned Grocery Store. Robinson reported he first performed in Water Valley after finding the concert at Fiddlin’ Rooster Farms.
Event organizer Kevin Guyer recalled that Robin-son’s first trip to Water Valley was a hit.
“Jimmy played here about a year ago at one of the final Fiddler’s Loft at Fiddlin Rooster Farms,” Guyer told the Herald. “He treated folks to a concert more deserving of the Ford Center than our little loft.”
Robinson said the experience was also strong from him.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was blown away by the artists and audience,” Robinson reported.
The music gets underway at 7 p.m.
