Drop-off Schedule Released For Operation Christmas Child

Water Valley in Yalobusha County will is a local drop-off point for the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child, during National Collection Week, Nov. 16-23.

The location will collect shoeboxes—packed with toys, school supplies, hygiene items and notes of encouragement—from generous Yalobusha County donors this year. Yalobusha County project coordinators hope to collect 20,000 shoebox gifts to deliver to children in need overseas.

The corrected drop-off times for Operation Christmas Child in Yalobusha County are: November 16-21, Monday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Sunday,  November 22, closed; and Monday, November 23, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. 

The location for Yalobusha County Relay Center is Water Valley First  Baptist Church CAC, 800 North Main Street.
