Troopers Warn Of Holiday Enforcement Period
The Mississippi High-way Patrol will begin the Memorial Day Travel Enforcement Period on Friday, May 27 at 6 p.m. and conclude Monday, May 30 at midnight. During this highly traveled period, all available troopers will be assigned saturation patrols in an effort to maximize visibility and reduce traffic crashes.
Safety checkpoints will also be established to prevent impaired driving and promote seatbelt usage with the Click It or Ticket campaign.
