SCAA Sponsors Dog Costume Contest As Part Of Saturday’s Carnival Lineup

The Second Chance Animal Alliance (SCAA) is  bringing a new event to the Watermelon Carnival this year. Pet owners are invited to participate in the dog costume contest, which is scheduled at the City Park Gazebo at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 6. 

The entry form is included below and there is no entry fee. The entry form can be dropped off at the Herald office by 3 p.m. on Friday, August 5. The form can also be dropped off at the SCAA booth at City Park by 3:30 on August 6.

SCAA was founded in 2014 and is a donor supported, grassroots organization that works to provide care and homes for lost or neglected dogs captured by the City of Water Valley’s animal control.
