Lady Devils Earn Big Win Over Bruce

The Lady Devils (5-8)(2-1) earned a big division win last week, defeating the Independence Wildcats (5-13) (4-4) 10-2. 

 It was the Lady Devils second victory over Independence, as they won the first matchup 11-1 and the win improved the Devils’ record to (5-8) and (2-1) in division play.  

The Lady Devils will wrap up the regular season this week as they travel to Ecru to take on the North Pontotoc Lady Vikings in another big division matchup.

 The Lady Vikings are undefeated in division play and have locked up the one seed. Water Valley will learn whether they’ll be the two or three seed in the playoffs later this week.
