Corinth All-Stars Thank Water Valley Fans

Dear Editor,

    The Corinth Comets All-Star Team would like to thank the fans of the Water Valley All-Stars Team for their support and cheering of our team during the recent Dizzy Dean State Tournament.   We appreciated the parents and players that sat with us and cheered for our team.   

    We would also like to thank our very special friend, Brian.

    Brian, you cheered our team on to victory and picked us up when we had fallen down. We were discouraged with our efforts that morning but you would not let us give up.     

    We didn’t win the state championship but we did win a friend. And that friend was much more valuable than any trophy we could put on our shelf.  Water Valley, you can take pride knowing your town is represented by this great team of athletes, parents and fans!
