Eagerness An Asset Of New Members

Dear Editor:

  Let me start this article by saying how proud I am of the VFW Post 4100 Ladies Auxiliary. We have gained new membership in the last two years that are jumping right in and doing a great job. They are young, enthusiastic and stand in strong support of our veterans at home and those serving at this time. Their eagerness is a joy to watch. Activities (just some of them) are veterans and their families, state and national organizations, VA hospitals, nursing homes, cancer centers, flag etiquette and school (elementary) participation.

  Last year I was honored by receiving my 30-year Lifetime Membership and pin. I was so proud to be gifted in this way, a gift I will always wear proudly, and a lifetime membership I will honor.

  It makes me proud to see these young ladies stepping up to accept duties handed down, to be strong, to always be supportive.

  Thank you, ladies. Many of you have been good friends for many years and I love each and every one of you.
