Fred White Praised For Being Fair To All Citizens

Letter to Editor:
  In regard to Mr. Fred White’s response to last week’s board Meeting: Color has nothing to do with it, as I am white and a senior citizen, and I cannot get anything done. A few days ago, I was outside trimming my holly bush. I went inside to cool off and get something to drink. When I went back outside my cat had found a poisonous snake. I was afraid to try to kill it. I waited, hoping someone would come by that I could stop to help me. Then I gave up and called the police station and asked, “Would they please send someone up to kill it for me.” Mr. Fred, do you think they came to my aid? No, the big city cops were too busy to bother.
  I sat trying to keep my eyes on the snake, coiled ready to strike. This city has gone to pot with all its rules. Thanks again, Fred, for trying to be fair to everybody.
