Ballot Language Was Confusing

Dear Editor:

I was disgusted when I received my ballot this past Tuesday and read over the referendums that were presented to the voters. The one on proposition 42 would have been so simple if it had just had “for or against” beside it.

The other was the vote on the “Unit System” which was so ridiculous that several of the voters I talked to said they just left it blank because they didn’t understand how to vote.

I believe it would be a big help to the votes when we have another election with a referendum to be voted on that our supervisors should review the wording and be the ones to select the wording that the voters can understand.
