Basketball Season Comes To An End

MARKS- The Water Valley Blue Devils traveled to Marks last Wednesday, to take on the North Panola Cougars in the first round of the division tournament.
The Blue Devils were outmatched, falling to the Cougars by a final score of 77-38. The loss eliminated Water Valley from the tournament, and ended their season.
Water Valley finished the season with a record of (4-19, 0-7 Region 2-3A). The young Blue Devils started the season with a spark, but struggled down the stretch, especially in Region play.
Lady Devils
The Lady Devils also traveled to Marks last Wednesday to take on the Holly Spring Lady Hawks in the opening game of the division tournament.
They were also defeated in the opening game, ending their season at (2-15, 0-7 Region 2-3A).
The Lady Devils experienced growing pains, and will look to have a better season next year as they will be a more experienced group.
