Oxford Maker’s Market Is Saturday

The Oxford Maker’s Market will be held on the courthouse lawn Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with 30 vendors featuring a wide variety of handmade and homegrown goods. Live Music by The Kites will begin at noon. This is a family friendly event and is free to the public.

The Oxford Maker’s Market is Mississippi’s original local handmade and homegrown market based in Oxford. It occurs every first  Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the courthouse lawn of the historic Oxford Square. The Oxford Maker’s Market is committed to underexposed and unrepresented talent and handmade goods of any and all styles.

It also provides an outlet for vendors of a wide variety of mediums and a live performance area for performing artists at each event. The market provides a Young Maker’s Area for budding entrepreneurs as well. If you are interested in learning more about Oxford Maker’s Market, check out their website at, or find us on Facebook at
