Letter To The Editor – June 18, 2009

Dear Editor:

This letter is about fliers being posted on the light poles around town. My five cousins’ cat was missing, so they made some fliers and posted them on about five of the light poles in town. Later that same day, their parents received a phone call informing them there was a $50 fine for each flier unless they were removed immediately.

As I drove through town this morning, I noticed two fliers posted on light poles advertising a yard sale.

Why are there one set of rules for some residents of town and a different set for the other residents?

I love living in the small town but I’m still curious for the reason for different rules for some citizens.

  Respectfully yours,
