Thirty Cents More Per Gallon Is Outrageous For Gas

Dear Editor,
With my last letter concerning the injustice of gas prices in Water Valley, compared to Batesville primarily, but also Oxford to some lesser extent.
I had decided to give up complaining. However, after several phone calls pointing out that Batesville prices are $3.209 at Walmart, $3.229 at Exxon, $3.259 at BP and Water Valley was the same old 30 cent average higher: Shell $3.559, Rascals and Sprint Mart, $3.529, and others at similar prices, I just had to report the differences one more time.
Thirty cents and more is just too outrageous to not point out to the local public. Being exposed apparently makes no difference to the dealers, but the public at least has the right to know.
