Who Keep The Power Flowing To Our Homes
Who Keep The Power Flowing To Our Homes
Dear Editor,
Isn’t it easy when the power goes out to get mad and blame someone for the problem. But while most of us are sitting in our dry houses, the men of the electric company have left the safety of their homes and their families behind. While I want for my internet connection to be workable, or my TV, they are out in the rain and lightening where there is the chance of injury or even death.
So, the next time the town loses power in a storm, how about taking a moment to say a prayer for all of the folks who are out there actually doing something about it. Believe me, your video games, or whatever, will keep.
